Moeko Inada （1985, Japan）
Moeko Inada, born with Down syndrome, has a keen sense of her fingers, loving to touch and tear papers. After graduating from a school for developmentally disabled children, Moeko began participating in La Mano, a craft atelier for adults with disability, where she has gradually developed her own creative expression - paper collage. She paints Japanese Washi paper with watercolors, tears it into small pieces, and then pastes her hued segments on a larger sheet of paper. The whole process seems to satisfy her sensibility, and allows the experience of her tactile sensation to be visualized.
