Harald Stoffers （1964, Germany）
Born in Hamburg, Stoffers started to work at a job center for the disabled from 1983. He joined the attached studio upon its opening in 2001. He writes a letter every day to his mother who lives together. His letters start with the same phrase, "Dear Mother, on …day next week, I will wear my freshly laundered …colored trousers and go to the workshop tomorrow". Like a self machine confirming daily routines and changes in life, there is an antagonism between regularity and unpredictability here.
